A work based on the record collection of the subject of the play. His albums were sampled, cut up, sampled again and made into the underscore of the story. amateur turntablism, live foley, and a dub-heavy rock band rounded out this Bessie award-winning production, for which Tei earned a Bessie for Outstanding Sound Design.
